The Pre-School Science Fair (PSSF) and School Level Science Fair (SLSF) provide an exciting platform for young learners to explore science through simple experiments and hands-on learning. Students from Pre-School and Standard 1 to Standard 6 are eligible to participate in this programme.
For Pre-School participants, teachers will be provided with six Science Process Skills books along with a Teacher’s Guide. Teachers are encouraged to conduct the activities outlined in these books with their students. Through these guided activities, children will engage in simple and enjoyable science experiences that nurture curiosity and early scientific thinking.
For Standard 1 to Standard 3, students will receive a fun experimental book containing 15 experiments. For Standard 4 to Standard 6, students will be provided with a book featuring 20 well-structured, hands-on experiments designed according to their respective learning levels.
Students may participate in the PSSF/SLSF either individually or in groups, depending on the approach adopted by their respective schools.
Schools are free to organize the Pre-School Science Fair (PSSF) and School Level Science Fair (SLSF) on any suitable date within the timeline proposed by ASTI.
ASTI will award medals to winners of the School Level Science Fair and present a small token of appreciation to all Pre-School participants. In addition, all participants will receive electronic certificates in recognition of their involvement in the Pre-School and School Level Science Fair.
